I have won a New England Press Association award for a story on NASCAR. I have interviewed Frightened Rabbit’s Scott Hutchison. I have published a book about Manchester City’s shit years. I have written the word “beef” on a men’s room stall. I AM VERSATILE, BITCH.
Alright, hold up … Enough with the forced levity. It’s a skosh unbecoming. Moving on …
I have been a professional writer and editor for almost three decades. I spent the first seven years of my career as an award-winning sports editor and writer for various newspapers in the New England area and then five years as a magazine editor. Since then, I have dabbled in public relations and marketing for several companies. Additionally, I was a freelance music journalist for more than a decade.
On a personal level, my family is too large, my record collection is not large enough, and my spice rack is just right. In job interviews, when asked to share an interesting fact about myself, I typically bring up winning “Star of the Day” on WBZ’s “Community Auditions.” I played the “Love Boat” theme on my celestaphone.
